For years I’ve posted Downtown Christmas Eve services. I would have told you I hadn’t missed a year, until I looked for last year’s version and realized I’d skipped last year, likely because in-person services were largely non-existent at the time. Thankfully, we’ve had some better stretches this year, though the new year brings uncertainty. Infections are surging and avoiding crowds and masking are very much currently recommended. Some services listed below have a livestream option if you should choose to remain safer.
I hope you can look back on this year and find some happy memories, move through this holiday season with some element of joy, and look forward to happier times in the new year. However or whether you celebrate this season, look for time to be with the ones you love. Nothing is more important. Here’s the (mostly) annual list of downtown Christmas Eve services for those of you who might be interested.
