Let’s just make this Valentines lovely for a few people in Knoxville, shall we? You don’t have to have a boo on this special day, a friend will do. You could even take an enemy and make a new friend.
First, the winner of two tickets to Knoxville Opera’s production of Lucia di Lammermoor, itself a story about star-crossed lovers is Krista de Cooke, who tells me she has never been before and never considered it until reading Beth’s article. She also fully intends to dress up!

Now, let’s do another giveaway. This one is for a pair of tickets to Big Ears. Each of these tickets carries a $225 + fees price tag. And I would add worth every penny and then some. The festival runs March 21 – 24, so be sure you can attend before you enter. Use “I Want to Grow My Ears,” as a subject line for an email to KnoxvilleUrbanGuy@gmail.com. I’ll let this one run through the weekend, ending at 8:00 AM Monday morning. In the body of your text tell me why Big Ears matters to you or why you think it matters to Knoxville. Keep it brief. I may run an article quoting some of the emails.
That’s all for today. Just wishing you a happy day in a great city. Love to everybody.
