- Lance Owen CD Release Party – Alive After Five at the Knoxville Museum of Art (6:00 PM – 8:30 PM, $8) It’s been 89 years coming, but Lance has finally put together a CD of his delicious saxophone playing with an excellent jazz band – all under the direction of none other than Donald Brown. This is can’t-miss excellence.

Saturday, February 23
- Seed Swap and Workday – Beardsley Community Farm – Work and Tour the Farm from 9:00 – 12:00, Swap Seeds from 12:00 – 2:00. Beardsley Farm is just outside downtown off Western Avenue. Come learn about the good things they do.
- Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus – Knoxville Coliseum, Various Times, $16 – $61
- A Raisin in the Sun – Clarence Brown Theatre, 7:30, $20.00
- The Lovelies of John Alan Maxwell Film Premiere – Bijou Theater (7:00, $25) – Knoxville Filmmaker Douglas Alan McDaniel in his feature-length debut about Knoxville artist John Alan Maxwell. Some of the film was shot locally.
